When FM hit the market in 2005, racing gamers across the globe would argue endlessly about whether Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport was the better game.Īs a matter of fact, they’re still doing so in the present day. Not only did Microsoft target Sony’s console, but they brought Turn 10 Studios along for the battle as they set to topple the Gran Turismo series with their direct competitor - Forza Motorsport. They saw Sony dominating the gaming market with their standalone PlayStation consoles, and they decided they wanted their slice of the console-gaming pie. These insane figures unsurprisingly caught the attention of Microsoft, who was controlling the PC gaming industry at the time. There’s no question that NFS was an absolute revelation for the gaming industry, and they went on to prove that by going on to sell over 150 million copies. If we zoom out and look at the bigger picture, it’s crazy to see how much the gaming world has changed in recent decades.įor those born in the 80s or earlier, you would’ve witnessed the dramatic shift from the likes of Mario Kart and Ridge Racer, right the way through to the groundbreaking Gran Turismo series.įrom there, arcade-style games such as Need For Speed came along and stole the limelight, bringing the serious circuit simulators to the streets for the ultimate racing buzz. We’ve created this guide to decide for yourself which one is likely to be the better game for you. Since the launch of Forza Horizon 4 in 2018, racing game enthusiasts have continued to disagree about which game provides the ultimate experience in the Forza Horizon series. In this guide, we put the two open-world racers head-to-head to conclude which game is the better choice for you. So unless they make a much bigger map, i,ll never going to return to that mostly boring game ever again.īut as a said, tastes differ for every gamers, will be always like that.Gamers often argue whether Forza Horizon 3 or 4 is the better game. So for me there,s absolutly nothing what atracts me to FH3.įor me it,s just so damn boring. And i owned all Forza, s up to 5 and FH's till FH3. That small world quickly gets boring, and you,l drive them over and over again and again.Īlso i takes only about 10 mins to drive the big round around the whole island. While in FH3 you only have cars and the map is so small that it is no secret you,l drive the same roads, thousends and thousands of times. Racing from east to west cost at least 30 mins+ in TC2. I choose TC2 since there are cars boat n planes and the massive open world to explore. It is always a personal choice for any player, and that always will be. I also like the much much more bigger TC2 world. I never have problems finding any players on the map.įorza has slighty better textures, wich is normal ofcourse since it hundrreds of times smaller than TC2.īut overall, the cites are much more beautifull in TC2 then in FH3, especially at night time, the atmosphere looks much better in TC2. There is no way any of these games comes even close to realistic real world driving :-)īut it depends what you have the most fun with. īoth games are pro arcade, and settings you can adjust to your liking as much as you want in the car setting as well in the configuration menu. The last thing you do if you want a racing game, is to look at TC2 or FH3. IDK about FH3 but TC2 does not seem to have as many players as I'd thought they'd have (seems like more or less 2000 playing according to community hub) I'm also hoping for an active online play. graphics are not a concern considering both games have decent graphics. I don't care too much about the map size, but I like a good car selection/variety and customization. Ursprünglich geschrieben von KrutikFTW:really want a racing game.
